Submissions

REGULAR papers should be 2-4 pages long -with at least one page of results- and formatted according to this template. Late poster abstracts should follow the same template but are limited to one page.

Submission of papers to ISOEN 2009 is through the EasyChair conference system at http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=isoen2009. The submission process requires registration to create an EasyChair account prior to submission.

Submission is closed.

AIP Proceedings

ISOEN  proceedings will be published online by the American Institute of Physics (AIP). The proceedings will have a Volume number in the AIP Conference Proceedings Series, ISSN and ISBN, and will be registered at the Library of Congress.
AIP has its own proceedings format.
In order to facilitate the reuse of the already submitted papers (and to comply with page limits from AIP) we set the following length limits:
* 3-4 pages for the ones who submitted an oral paper (irrespectively of acceptance as oral/poster)
* 1-2 pages for the ones who submitted a poster paper.

This means you can resubmit (always through easychair!) the paper you have already submitted, after you change its format. We also strongly recommend implementing the reviewers’ suggestions.

Please remind that a paper will be published in the proceedings (and can be presented at the conference) only if at least one author of that paper registered to the conference.

We signed a contract with AIP with a precise manuscript submission date. The deadline for uploading the manuscript on easychair is Sunday 22nd March, without any exception.
Please carefully read and comply with the ethical rules http://www.aip.org/pubservs/ethics.html  and also send the Transfer of Copyright Agreement.

Papers not complying with the deadline, the format, the ethical rules or the transfer of copyright will not appear on the proceedings.

UPDATE

- Easychair doesn't allow to upload a paper with exactly the same title as an old one, even if it is in another category. The solution: please add to the title the number corresponding to the original submission of your paper (ONLY in the easychair web form, NOT in the pdf!!). This will also help us linking the old submissions with the new ones. For example, you will write the new title of submission number 180, with old title "Localizing an Odor Source and Avoiding Obstacles: Experiments in a Wind Tunnel using Real Robots" as follows: "180 Localizing an Odor Source and Avoiding Obstacles: Experiments in a Wind Tunnel using Real Robots"

- Each NEW submission will obviously have a new number (you see it in the automatic generated mail). This is the number you must write top right in the copyright form.

- Please send the copyright form to Giselle Jimenez, either scanned via email at giselle.jimenez@ing.unibs.it or via fax +39 030 2091271.
