Payment and cancellations

Payment must be made in full by at least one author in order to have a paper printed in the Prooceedings. A maximum of two oral presentations can be made by any registered partecipant.

Cancellations will be subject to the following charges:

  • 25% of the fee up to four weeks before the Conference
  • 50% of the fee between two and four weeks
  • fee to be paid in full after this point

Substitutions may be made at any time.

Data Protection

The personal information provided by you will be held on a database and may be used by ISOCS to inform you of other relevant activities. It will not be shared with any third party. ISOCS is an international society and therefore your data may be exported to countries outside the European Union. If you do not wish to have your data used for this purpose, please email data.controller@olfactionsociety.org.

Force Majeure

ISOCS shall not be liable for any failure to provide services if this has been caused by reason of Force Majeure, which shall mean circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the organiser so affected, including, but not limited to illnesses, death or resignation of personnel, acts of God, acts of war or terrorism, industrial action, non approval of visas, individual transport delays or transport disruption.

Electronic communications and software

Whilst every effort is made to ensure downloadable content, electronic communications, demonstration data and software are free from viruses, ISOCS cannot accept any liability for damages resulting from virus infection. ISOCS provides all data and demonstration software on an information only basis and accepts no liability for its use.
